Hello, Guys! Today I’m going to discuss more than 45 common errors of Google Play Store and also their solutions. And I’m sure this will definitely help those people who have issues while installing applications or games from Google Play Store from Android. I have collected almost all most popular and common errors codes of Google Play Store and their solutions. So, Let’s start-

 

What is Google Play Store?

For those of you that have never used, or maybe even heard of, the Google Play Store. It’s Android’s equivalent to Apple’s iTunes Store. In the Google Play store, you’ll find applications, games, music, books, magazines, and your favourite movies and TV shows. You’re sure to find your favourite games and applications out of the more than 2.8 million to choose from in the Google Play Store.

 

How to Fix ‘Unfortunately, Google Play Store has Stopped’ Error and why Google Play Store has stopped?

Google Play store has to stop because of some reasons like corrupted data, SD card is full and corrupt binaries.

Solution-1

Reset Application Preferences

  • Go to the Settings Menu and tap on Apps or Application Manager
  • Click on menu and then tap on Reset App preferences
  • Click on Reset Apps then Restart your device

 

Solution-2

Clear the Data and cache of the Google Play Store

  • Go to the settings menu
  • Tap on Apps or Application Manager and select the ‘ALL’ tab, look for Google Play Store and click on it.
  • Now, tap Force stop then Clear data and cache and then open Google Play Store.

 

Solution-3

Uninstall the updates of Google Play Store

  • Go to the settings menu
  • Click on Apps or Application Manager and scroll to ‘ALL’ tabs
  • Search Google Play Store and uninstall the updates of it.

 

Solution-4

Remove Google Account and re-add it

  • Go to the settings menu
  • Then go to accounts and tap on Google
  • Click on Gmail account and click on Three Dots and Remove Account.
  • Reboot your device and then re-add the account.

 

Solution-5

Reset your device to the Factory Version.

 

1- DF-BPA-30 Error:-

This is an error that we get from Google Play Store while downloading an application or purchasing an application.

Solution-1

  • You have to go to the settings of your phone and here you have to find the accounts.
  • Click on the Accounts option and then tap on Google.
  • So, here we need to remove your Google Account that is Gmail.
  • Just tap on Gmail and then tap on remove account.
  • So, our Gmail Account has been removed and after that, you need to turn off the syncing, it’s auto sync data so we just need to cancel all sync.
  • After that just tap on the Add Account at the bottom and we need to re-add your Google Account again.
  • So, when you will complete this process then again tap on Google Account and now we have to sync it.
  • After it’s done syncing you can turn on the Auto Sync data and now reboot your device, that’s it.

 

Solution-2

It is a very easy process, delete the data and clear cache of the Google Play Store.

 

2- DF-BPA-09 Error: –

This error is also the same of the DF-BPA-30, this error we get on Google Play Store while purchasing an application.

Solution-1

  • Go to the settings
  • Find here Apps or Application Manager and tap into it.
  • Swipe to the right to find the ALL tab, here you have to find the Google Services Framework, so tap on it to open it.
  • You need to clear the data.
  • After that, you need to reboot your device and you have to go to the Play Store and just try to download an App or make a purchase.

3- DF-DLA-15 Error: –

This is an Error that we get from Google Play Store when you try to download or update an Application.

Solution-1

  • Go to the settings and then tap on Applications
  • Search all applications and tap on Google Play Store and first click on force detection.
  • After that accept and erase data.
  • Then again search all application and tap on Google Play Services and do the same as before, click on Force Detection and accept and erase data. Now, the problem is solved

 

4-RPC: S-5: AEC-0 Error: –

This is an error that you get to play store when Google Play Store fails in retrieving information.

Solution-1

  • Go to the settings
  • Remove the Google Account
  • After that, re-add your account
  • Now, reboot your device, that’s it.

 

5-RPC:AEC:0 Error: –

This is an error code that you get from Google Play Store when you can’t download an application.

Solution-1

  • Go to the settings
  • Now, tap on the Apps or Application Manager.
  • Then go to the ‘All’ tab
  • Search the Google Play Store and erase data and clear cache
  • Finally, reboot your device, that’s it.

 

 

6-RPC: S-3 Error: –

This is an error code that you get on Play Store where this error does not allow to download an application.

Solution-1

  • Go to the settings
  • Remove your Google Account (Gmail)
  • Restart your phone or tablet and re-add the account, that’s it
  • You can also try a different account.

 

7-RH-01 Error: –

This is an error code that we get from Google Play Store while installing or updating the existing the applications.

Solution-1

  • Go to the Settings menu
  • Click on Accounts
  • Remove your Google Account, and if you have more than one then remove all accounts
  • Restart your phone or tablet, and re-add it your account, that’s it.

 

Solution-2

  • Go to the settings menu
  • Search the Apps or Application Manager and tap on it.
  • Now, tap on ‘All’ tab
  • Then find the Download Manager just tap to open it.
  • Now, clear the data and go back again
  • Find the Google Play Services tap on it and then tap on manager space
  • And then clear all data.
  • Now, go back again and tap on google play store then tap on clear data and OK
  • Again go back and then tap on Google Services Framework then tap on clear data and then tap on OK again.
  • After that, you need to reboot your device and it will fix your issue.

 

8-Error retrieving information from server:  –

This is an error that you get when you download or update the existing application then Google’s server is not able to retrieve information from your account.

Solution-1

  • Go to the settings menu
  • Tap on accounts and remove your Gmail account
  • Now restart your device and re-add your account, that’s it.

 

Solution-2

  • Go to the settings
  • Go to Apps>All>Google Services Framework
  • Tap on clear data and force stop, that’s it.

 

9-BM-GVHD-06 Error: –

This is an error that we get when users try to use Google Play Card.

Solution-1

  • Go to Settings
  • Click on Applications
  • Tap on Apps or Application Manager
  • Go to ‘ALL’ tab then tap on Google Play Store
  • Click on uninstall updates and then reboot your phone, it will fix your error.

 

Solution-2

  • Go to settings menu
  • Remove your Google Account (Gmail)
  • Now go to Play Store and re-add your account
  • Restart your device and it will fix your problem.

 

10-Error Authentication Required: –

This is an error that most of the users face on their phones and this is very common and frequent occurring error.

Solution-1

  • Go to the settings of your phone
  • Now remove your Google Account (Gmail)
  • Then go to setting and click on Apps and find the Google Play Store
  • Now click on storage than clear the data and clear cache
  • After this open the Google Play Store and sign in your account.
  • Then restart your phone and it’ll fix your problem.

 

11-Error 8: –

This is an error that you get when downloading an application or games and between the processing of download, it shows this error that is error 8.

Solution-1

  • First, make sure that Google Play Services is installed or not on your phone.
  • Even after that, you face problem then go to the settings
  • Then search Google Play Services (Settings>Apps>All>Google Play Services)
  • Disable the application
  • After that, it will ask you to restore Factory Data settings
  • Just confirm it and it will fix your error.

 

12-Error 18: –

This is an error that we get when you want to re-install apps that you have already on your phone.

Solution-1

  • Go the settings menu
  • Click on storage option
  • Then tap on unmount SD card
  • Now, install & update the app or games from the Google Play Store
  • After that remount SD card and it will fix your issue.

 

13-Error 20: –

This is an error that you get when people install or update existing apps or games.

Solution-1

  • If you get the Error Code 21 on the Google Play Store, my first tip is to delete unnecessary apps and games or cache files. My second tip is that reboot your phone.
  • Now go to your Application Manager, click on Google Play Store and Clear Data and uninstall the updates.
  • Now, problem should be fixed
  • If not, you can try to remove all your Google Accounts and re-login.

 

14-Error 24: –

This Error happens when you are trying to download or update an Application or Game on Google Play Store.

Solution-1

  • Go to settings menu, clear the Data and cache of Google Play Store, Google Play Services, Google Services Framework and Download manager
  • If you don’t see Google Services Framework or Download Manager, leave it.
  • Remove your Google Account (Gmail) and re-add it again
  • If you have more than one Google Accounts, remove all.

 

Solution-2

  • Clear the cache and data of Contacts and Contacts storage.
  • Before doing this make sure you take backup of your contacts.
  • Allow installation of Applications from Unknown sources.
  • Go to Google.com and search for ‘Super backup App Apk’, download it and install it.
  • Take backup of your contacts
  • After that, go to settings and tap on Apps or Application Manager
  • Then go to ALL tabs, find Contacts Storage and Clear its cache and data.

 

Solution-3

  • This method requires your phone to be rooted
  • If you had installed the application before and uninstalled it without clearing its cache and data, there might be a chance that some files are leftover.
  • Allow installation of application from unknown sources
  • Go to http://apkmirror.com and do a search for ‘ES File Explorer’. Download and install it.
  • Enable Root Explorer
  • Go to /device/data/data/(package name)
  • And if you see the folder of the Application that you trying to install, just delete it and restart your phone.

 

Solution-4

  • Factory reset the phone.
  • After, it’s done restoring
  • Go to Google Play Store and try to download again the Application.

Note- It’ll ask you if you want to backup or your data/app from Google Server, make sure you remove the check. Then proceed, proceed to installation.

 

15-Package File Invalid Error: –

This error happens when you’re trying to download an App or update an App.

Solution-1

  • Clear the cache and data of the Google Play Store then Go to Settings Menu.
  • Click on Apps or Application Manager then select the ‘ALL’tab
  • Search Google Play Store and tap on it
  • Click on force stop then clear cache and data
  • Now, open Google Play Store and download or update an application.

 

Solution-2

  • If you are doing an update to the Application, then clear its data and cache and try to update an Application.

 

Solution-3

  • Remove your Google Accounts and re-add it, after that reboot your device.

 

Solution-4

  • Uninstall the Google Play Store updates if you have it.

 

17-Error 403: –

This is an error that we get when people uses two or more Google Accounts (Gmail) to buy an app from the Google Play Store on a single device.

Solution-1

  • Go to the settings menu
  • Then tap on Apps or Application Manager
  • Search Google Play Store and tap to open it
  • Click on Force Stop then click on Clear data and Cache.
  • Now, reboot your device
  • If it doesn’t work then remove your Google Accounts
  • Then restart the phone and re-add your Gmail account, it will fix your issues.

 

18-Error 103: –

This is a very different Error than the other Errors. It happens when you think that the Application or game is compatible with your phone or tablet but in reality, it is not. And if you install any application with the same Gmail Account it will give you 103 error.

Solution-1

This is one of the error which automatically get solved by itself after some hours.

 

19-Error 406: –

This is an error that we get when you want to reset factory and restore your phone or tablet and when you have reset Gmail Account and sign-in on your device and signup a new account on your device.

Solution-1

  • Go to the settings menu then click on Apps or Application Manager
  • Then go to ‘All’ section and now search for Google Play Store and click on it
  • Click on Clear data and Cache.

 

20-Error 481: –

This is an error that we get when the issue in your Google Account.

Solution-1

The easy method to solve this error is to remove your Google Account (Gmail Account) and create a new one then sign-in with that account.

 

21-Error 497: –

This is an error that you get when people try to update and install the application on their device.

Solution-1

  • Disable Android Device Manager and then go to settings menu
  • Click on Security then tap on Device Administrators and Android Device Manager, just deactivate it.
  • Now, restart your device.

 

Solution-2

  • Clear data and Cache of Google Play Store and Google Play Services.
  • If you see Google Services Framework, Download manager also clear their data and cache as well.
  • Uninstall the updates of Google Play Store
  • Remove your Google Account then reboot your device and re-login the Gmail account again.
  • If you have more than one Gmail Account then remove all.

 

Solution-3

  • Using VPN- Allow installation of Applications from unknown sources.
  • Open http://google.com, search for ‘Rocket VPN APK’ download and install it.
  • Open the application, select country of your choice and connect it.
  • Open Google Play Store and try to download or update an application.

 

22-Error 505: –

This is an error that we get when you install two and more than two apps on your device with duplicate permissions.

Solution-1

  • Check your Data, Time and Time Zone if it is not correct. Please, correct it and try to install or update an application.

 

Solution-2

  • Uninstall the updates of Google Play Store if you have it.
  • Go to settings, and then applications, and then uninstall Google Play Store updates.

 

Solution-3

This method requires your phone to be rooted. If you had installed the app before and uninstall it without clearing its data and cache, there might be a chance that some files are leftover.

  • Allow installation of Apps from unknown sources
  • Go to apkmirror.com and do a search for ‘ES File Explorer’ download it and install it.
  • Enable Root Explorer
  • Go to /device/data/app
  • And if you see the folder of the app that you are trying to install, just delete it.
  • Restart your device and go to Play Store and try to download or update an app.

 

23- Insufficient Storage Available: –

This is an Error that we get when your phone or tablet’s memory is full.

Solution-1

  • Go to the settings menu and uninstall the unwanted applications from your Phone or tablet.
  • Go to the dialer and put *#9900# and delete dumpstate/logcat to fix this error.

 

24- Connection Time Out Error: –

This is an Error that we get when you are not able to download apps or games from the Google Play Store.

Solution-1

  • You can fix it by modifying correct date and time.
  • Delete the cache and data from the Google Play Store.
  • Remove your Google Account and re-adding the Account again.
  • Resetting application preference and factory data reset.

 

25- Error 101, 110, 194, 413, 491, 492, 495, 498, 501, 504, 905, 906, 907, 911, 919, 920, 921, 923, 924,  927, 941, 944, 961, 963: –

The main reason is that your Android device can’t connect with your Google Accounts and you also cannot install or update application from Google Play Store.  So, here I have given the common solution for these errors.

Solution-1

  • Go to the settings and then go to Application Manager or Apps
  • Click on the ALL tab and look for the Google Play Store click on it.
  • And first, click on Force Stop and then clear the data and cache.
  • Now, go to Google Play Store and try to download again
  • If you can’t download, then again go to settings and remove your Google Accounts (Gmail)
  • Now, restart the device, go to the Google Play Store and re-login the Google Account.
  • If it doesn’t work you could try one more thing, Go to Google and search for the updated Google Play Store APK file from any website and install it on your device.
  • You can also one more thing, go to the settings menu then tap on Apps or Application Manager
  • Then search the Google Services Framework & Google Play Services then Clear cache and data.
  • Now, reboot your device.

 

Solution-2

Reset App preferences

  • Go to Settings menu and click on Apps or Application Manager
  • Tap on three dots, tap on reset App preferences.
  • Now, restart your device.

 

Solution-3

  • Uninstall the updates of Google Play Store
  • Go to settings menu and then click on Apps or Application Manager
  • Now, uninstall Google Play Store updates.

 

Solution-4

  • Remove your Google Account (Gmail Account) and restart your device
  • Then re-add the Gmail account again. If you have more than one Google Account, remove all.

 

Solution-5

  • Go to storage and unmount it and restart your device.
  • Now re-mount your device and go to Google Play Store and try to download an application.

 

Solution-6

Factory reset your device

  • In the worst case, if above methods do not work for you and then factory reset your device.
