Samsung J3 Emerge
Hello! Guys, Today I’m going to take a look at Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge Review. So let’s started with-
So, let’s just kick it off with the design and build of the Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge size actually feels really good in the hand. It’s not too slippery I really like the fact that Samsung went with the side firing speaker on this device. In my opinion, it is way better than it being on the back or on the bottom of the device. It’s got a very grippy material on the back. On the left side is your power button. On the bottom got your micro USB charging port, microphone and a 3.5mm jack for headphone. On the side is your power button and on the top, you got a secondary microphone.
The Phone front top you got earpiece, your LED notification sensors and also there front facing camera. the front bottom of the phone here is your resource button, Physical home button, and back button. On the back that’s for Samsung logo and the phone top back is your 5-megapixel camera with single LED flash. But overall feel in the hand feels really good.
Another great feature with this is you get a removable back which gives you access to your removable 2600 mAh battery. You get microSD card expansion which is great because we can able to expand the memory up to 256GB.
It’s a 5-inch HD 720p LCD display with 293 pixels per density on this device. It’s not Super AMOLED display but this device does have a ver nice looking display outdoor visibility is great on this device. You actually have an outdoor mode. In this outdoor mode, I’m telling you it gets bright super vibrant looking. This device has boost mobile’s 4G LTE network. Phone calls have been pretty good pretty clear receivers. You have got another feature here that you can adjust the brightness of the flashlight.
Let’s jump on the camera now, if you double-tap on the home button there. it’ll actually give you a quick access to your 5-megapixel Rear facing the camera and front facing the 2-megapixel camera. So video recording on this is going to be in full HD 1920 x 1080p 30 frames per second. You get two option here for HD or VGA.
This also has different ways to take a picture, gesture control by using the palm of your hand or you can tap to take the picture. Here volume keys have a function you can record video with it record or adjust the volume. You actually have the ability to pause while recording and capture a photo while you’re recording as well.
You also get here some different filters that you can choose for your camera here, either for taking photos or videos. The 2-megapixel front facing the camera, it actually does take pictures pretty nice. Wasn’t really expecting some great results but you know it’s not too bad for 2-megapixels.
Overall camera is pretty nice even though it’s only 5-megapixels rear-facing, it can still produce some really nice images especially when you’re outdoors but when you move into low-light where you can see a little bit of suffering in this camera photos.
Processor & Memory: –
This device is also rocking Android 6.0 Marshmallow has 16GB of ROM, 1.5GB of RAM. It has 1.4 gigahertz Quad-Core processor as well. It has Adreno 308 GPU and a Snapdragon 430 on this 293 PPI.
I ran the Geekbench for test the results I got 622 single core score and then 1620 multi-core score.
I going to come to some multitasking on this device, it actually does a pretty decent job. It’s not super fast but it also at the same time, not the slowest device I’ve ever used for 80 dollars.
Let’s talk about the Battery life and power saving options here. SO you got two really good options here You got Mid and Max modes there. This device actually optimizes your battery very well on the J3 Emerge. So you can get some really good battery life and you can adjust it. That’s one thing I really like here and again with these budget affordable devices 2600 mAh. It is a good size of battery for the J3 Emerge. I’m getting pretty much all day battery life on this device. So battery life, in my opinion, has been pretty excellent.
Overall I think this is a great $80 device I think its price for it needs to have a nice design, good battery life, and a pretty nice camera as well. So, guys, it’s all up to you if you buy a phone in 80 dollars. I don’t think it’s not a bad choice.
