Samsung Galaxy A8 2016
Hey, guys, It’s time to do a full review of the Galaxy A8 2016. This is a phenomenal device and really special first of all because of the only phone right now you have.
This phone looks elegant the 2.5D glass in the front with a subtle curve. The all-metal build has even got used to being asymmetric Antena Lines. The 7.2mm thickness makes it real sleek and it’s supposed to feel heavy. The way it’s evenly distributed and it feels more solid than heavy.
Now let’s take a closer look at the placements, the power button and speaker are located to the right. The 3.5mm headphone jack, primary microphone and the micro USB port present of the bottom. The volume rocker and the SIM tray are located to the left. This tray houses two slots, the same and a hybrid. We’ve got the Samsung logo and about that the 16-megapixel camera with a single LED flash. To the front on top got an 8–megapixel front-facing camera. Earpiece, sensors that followed by Samsung branding and then a 5.7-inch display.
To the bottom we’ve got the regular set-up a physical Home Button flanked by capacitive recent option bar keys which are backlit. The fingerprint scanner works great it’s a passive scanning meaning you have to press the HOME key began to scan your fingerprint. But it’s extremely fast and accurate.
Now take a look at the display, This phone has a 5.7inch Super AMOLED with a 1080p full HD resolution. So that’s a pixel density of about 385 PPI. It’s reasonably sharp, the colors are great, Contrast is excellent, Viewing angles are stellar. Note that this display is covered by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. The colors are top-notch and super bright have no problem with this display being outdoor. SO all-in-all the display is absolutely top-notch.
Let’s now move on to the Camera, The A8 2016 has a 16-megapixel rear camera with F/1.9 aperture, No optical image stabilization. Though the shutter response is quick there’s a Pro-mode present but it is appreciated with just the basics available. The images shot with this camera turned out great, lots of details, natural color reproduction, excellent dynamic range. The Low-light performance dip but still not too bad.
The 8-megapixel front-facing camera also has F/1.9 aperture and shoots decent selfies. This phone doesn’t have 4K capabilities 1080p at 30fps is the max it can do and the footage is bad. Color reproduction Awful looks washed out.
Processor & Memory: –
Now under the hood, we had 3GB of RAM along with the EXYNOS 7420 processor. This is a pretty good combination considering it is having it 1080p display. It is enough I mean the performance is top-notch. I haven’t seen any lag on this device.
Let’s talk about software the A8 2016is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the latest TouchWiz was on top Grace UI. Samsung throwing all the regular features including multi-window and floating window supports to leverage that like 5.7inch display for better multitasking. Other staples like secure folder and teams to customize the look of your interface we did do. Surprisingly Samsung’s included the always-on display functionality as well.
One of the big changes with the grace UI is actually the quick setting area. In the Quick Setting Area is also their power saving mode is also tweaked. So now you get Mid and Max mode which is now easier to remember compared to the older ultra power saving mode. One thing that is missing that I haven’t seen in this phone with disgrace you. I compared to the Galaxy Note 7 is the blue light filter which is the night mode features. I haven’t seen this anywhere check te setting that is absent.
Now also we talk about the secure folder which is one of the best additions to the Grace UI. You have a duplicate application here a separate copy of the main application, for example, your gallery, camera, contacts, emails and your files etc. You can also add more applications. So it’s like I said one of the best editions with the new Grace UI. We dive into the app drawer, here you have a search bar, also had the three dots here to edit the application.
Let’s talk about the speaker, a lot of people don’t really know Samsung as starting to implement this speaker movement to the right and they might introduce like deals to your speaker system in the future Galaxy S8.
Now, We talk about the battery life on this phone, the battery is 3300 mAh so far it’s been really you can say solid battery. It does have fast charging is charged up to a 100% in just 1 hour and 12 minutes. It easily survives up to one day without any problem.

The A8 2016 the hardware itself is great. The Camera quality is good but in low-light performance is bad. The Phone display and Design is great but the lack of 4k videos, I can’t say that it’s great. It is a beautiful phone but despite it being a beautiful phone, It is not what I can recommend.
