Oukitel K6

Introduction: –

Hello, Folks! Today I’m going to do a full specifications review and discuss the Oukitel K6 price. The Oukitel are renowned for creating smartphones with fairly big batteries and Oukitel K6 has a 6300 milliamp-hours battery and with having a big battery there is a little bit of weight. It also comes with 18 by 9 aspect ratio FHD+ display, NFC, and 6GB RAM. So, let’s start-

Design: –

Oukitel K6 Design

The Oukitel K6 looks really cool but besides beautiful design the build quality of this device is great. So, the body of the phone is made from metal and it’s made with special effect. The K6 comes in at 259 grams and in terms of thickness, it’s around about 10mm thick. So, it is rather thick, the frame is the all-metal frame.

On the back side, we have LED flash with Dual rear camera setup and fingerprint scanner and of course, we have here Oukitel Logo. On the right side of the phone, we have the Volume rocker and power button which are also made of metal. The back panel is very shiny so the camera has some hard time to focus and on the left side of the phone, we have a slot for memory card and SIM cards. On the front side, we have a 6-inch screen with Full HD Plus resolution.

Now, the Oukitel K6 display is rather stunning for a budget smartphone. It has a 6-inch display with the 18 by 9 aspect ratio and it has a Full HD Plus display because of that you have a bigger screen in the smaller phone so this is an advantage when we talk about the smartphone. There are nice, crisp, and sharp images. The colour reproduction is good and viewing angles are very nice. The screen provides excellent visibility from every angle, sharpness is huge and it provides beautiful display course. The touch works really nice so it provides high resolution super big screen 6-inch but at the same time, you don’t have a bigger smartphone to hold.

The phone does not come with 3.5mm headphone jack but it does come with USB Type-C 3.5mm headphone jack converter. It has USB Type-C and this just supports fast charging. The sound is excellent and very loud.

Biometrics: –

Oukitel K6 Face Unlock Feature

Let’s talk about the new feature Face Unlock so this is additional security for a smartphone because you can unlock the phone only with your face. So, to adjust your settings go to Security and Face Lock. This feature is really cool but at the same time it provides security for your device and it takes 1 – 2 seconds for your device is unlocked. I didn’t face any problems with unlocking the phone with my face. Now, talking about the fingerprint scanner which is also great very fast, accurate and reliable.

Camera: –

Oukitel K6 Camera

The Oukitel K6 rear camera has 21-megapixel + 8-megapixel with LED flash and I can tell you I’m quite happy with the performance of the rear camera. The image quality is very good in the $270 price range and you will not be disappointed because photos are enough sharp and colours are natural.  The front-facing camera is also the Dual camera 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel with LED flash which is good, performance is not great because the front-facing lenses seem like a dummy so it’s not the proper dual camera but the quality isn’t too bad. There are audio sync issues though just like with the Vernee X.

First of all, the low-light condition, the background details are clear and if we zoom it, it’s still relatively sharp with sharp lines. You can also capture the images in blur effect and the blur effect of images are not very smooth but in focus sharpness are acceptable. Under the sunny condition, the pictures should have a good performance as well. When you capture the images in mono settings the images came out with beautiful texture, medium filter with good performance in the grey.

I’m quite happy with the performance of the Camera. In the evening and low-light conditions it does suffer a little bit with noise settling into the picture or the videos but on the whole, I was quite happy with the camera. The only issue is the front-facing video where the audio is out of sync.

Processor, Memory & Performance: –

Oukitel K6 Processor

The Oukitel K6 is powered by MediaTek MT6763 chipset which clocked at Octa-Core 2.0GHz processor with 6 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal storage which is expandable up to 128 gigabytes via microSD card. It comes with ARM Mali G71 MP2 graphics card and that has a clock speed of 700MHz.

Playing games on High-quality settings has been absolutely fine, the usual Asphalt Extreme and World War 2 Army game that I’ve been playing that seemed rather smooth on Full settings. After the long use, the Oukitel K6 did get a little warm towards the end but not really hot. The 6 gigabytes of RAM also helps in gaming, apps and you can open the multiple applications at the same time.

The Oukitel K6 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. It handles split-screen multitasking very well.

Connectivity: –

The Oukitel K6 also has LED notification and in dark conditions is rather bright. The WiFi connection absolutely fine, I haven’t witnessed any WiFi drop house either. We have strong GPS on the smartphone.

Battery: –

The Oukitel K6 comes with a massive 6300 milliamp-hours battery. Oukitel is a smartphone company which is very famous for high capacity battery smartphones and the same situation is also with this device because this device has a huge 6300 mAh powers capacity battery so it has a long-lasting battery. After testing I can confirm that approximately it can provide 48 hours of listening to music or 11 hours of online videos like YouTube or 64 hours of phone calls these are great results for this kind of device. The Oukitel K6 takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes for fully charged this is really quick for high capacity battery.

Conclusion: –

So, overall, if you are looking for a good quality smartphone with a big battery, huge screen, powerful hardware and at the same time not too expensive then for sure you need to consider Oukitel K6 because it costs around 270 dollars.

The Oukitel K6 provides beautiful design, dual rear and camera setup, beautiful 6-inch 18 by 9 aspect ratio screen with full HD plus resolution, 6 gigabytes of RAM, a huge 6300 milliamp-hours battery with quick charging, Face ID overall excellent smartphone.
