Oppo F3 Plus Reviews-
Hello Guys, Today I’m going to take a look at the Oppo f3 Plus Reviews. Now, this is the Company’s latest Selfie centric smartphone to add to its F series of handsets. What’s special about it is that its front camera has a wide angle lens to face more people into your selfie. So, let’s go take a look-
design-wise the Oppo F3 Plus resembles its flagship offering the R-line adds. Which then resembles the design of the former iPhone 6 and 6s. The part is mostly occupied by the display with a good amount of bezel around. Position on top of the display is the earpiece, front sensors, and two front cameras. The one of the left is the wide angle lens while the right is the narrow lens of view. Below the despair the capacitive buttons with the fingerprint scanner position in the middle.
The left-hand side of the F3 Plus houses the power of left button and hybrid card tray except to nano SIM cards with the second slot also open for a micro SD card. The right solely as the volume rocker and nothing else. The Oppo F3 Plus has an aluminum unibody with rounded corners making it easy to hold. This is a great ergonomic design since the phone is really large. The top is avoided of any parts leaves. The bottom end with the 3.5mm headphone and micro USB ports + the loudspeaker as an additional thought it would have been nice to have USB type-c. The back of the handset is clean and simple.
The Rear camera is at the top left Corner with a Dual Tone LED flash on its side. The Camera module protrudes out of the phone’s chassis again just like the iPhone 6. What difference in this phone is over the plastic Antenna bands instead of a solid strip. Oppo F3 Plus with the sleeker three thin lines on its end. This keeps the visibility of the lines minimal to the naked eye. We already saw this implementation with the Samsung C9 Pro and it’s designed, We appreciate. The sum up of the Oppo F3 Plus looks and feels like, we just need to hold an iPhone 6 or 6s. This will not earn Oppo any originality awards. But some users who prefer Apples former iPhone design, We’ll be glad about this.
The Oppo F3 Plus has the large 6inch display and uses an IPS LCD panel with a full HD resolution or a pixel density of 307PPI. It’s not the sharpest around in size but it’s more tan enough for everyday use. The display saturated to saturated for our liking that we initially thought of it as an AMOLED panel. It’s topped with coming Gorilla Glass 5 for scratch resistance and added durability. The loudspeaker at down to the phone surprisingly and has a good depth when playing videos and games on the Phone.
The F3 Plus runs almost custom interface called color OS 3.0 which is based on Android 6.0 marshmallow. Lower end Oppo phones have the same OS but based on previous Android 5.1 lollipop that said marshmallow is not the latest flavor around. But you can hardly identify it due to the customization like with the phone’s physical design Oppo talked a lot of cues from Apple.
If you’ve owned or even held an Oppo Phone you can clearly tell the UI is an iOS flip of how we appreciate the deep customization. We expected to see more of color OS on higher than devices out of the box easily jump start off from keeping Android experience with google apps already pre-installed. A few system apps and tools of facebook are also present which are always handy to have.
The handset of 64GB of internal storage in which 52.27GB is accessible to the user. Our initial boost gave us 51.35GB of these days.
The shooters and Oppo phones have been one of the manufacturer’s names string, also the Camera Launcher is very easy and familiar thanks again to color OS inspiration from Apple. This time around though Oppo jumps on to the Dual Camera Wagon with Dual Selfie cameras One normal and one Wide-angle.
The second sensors are mainly for easy to take a group selfie, on the other hand, the main selfie camera has a 16-megapixel with bright and crisp F/2.0 aperture. While the wide angle is a lower 8-megapixel shooter. Selfie taken with the main front shooter are impressive.
It’s clear and produce a fair looking bouquet thanks to this large lens opening. The wide angle on the other hand still produces quality shots with extremely wide fields of view similar to an action camera. While the front camera gets a dual set up the rear camera receives a technical upgrade. It still has a 16-megapixel sensor but with a F/1.7 aperture and Dual face detection of the focus. It focuses quickly in daylight and captures sharp and pleasing stills.
The color accuracy of photos are also on point it’s definitely a good rear shooter as for videos Oppo f3 plus gets a 4K recording. It’s just too bad there’s no optical image stabilization present which would further increase video quality.
Powering the latest Oppo phone is Quad-core mid-range chipset. The Snapdragon 653 its got a total of 8-cores running at a master clock speed of 1.9 GHz. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 510 GPU and there also an AMPLE 4GB LP DDR4 RAM just quite an upper mid-range set up and choked with uses. The phone breezes through the interface and switches from one after another smoothly.
4GB of RAM is quite a lot of memories exhaust and color OS doesn’t hinder performance or eat up memory unlike other heavy Android skins gaming something you could enjoy with the Oppo F3 Plus especially with its large display. We were able to run quality titles in high graphics settings easily.
Here the benchmark scores-
Geekbench 4- 1,475 (single core) , 4,429 (Multi-Core)
PCMark- 4,715 (Work2.0), 5,861 (Work 1.0) Storage
3DMark- 941 (Sling Shot Extreme)
The Oppo F3 Plus carries a 4000mAh battery sealed inside. It also has fast charging supports with Oppo phone book or VOOC technology during our video loop test that consisted of playing a full HD file at airplane mode 50% brightest and 50% volume we were able to squeeze out 13 hours and 39 minutes of continuous playback.

For the most part of Oppo f3 plus is a commendable Android phablet thanks to a 6-inch display. We are also satisfied with how is performed during our usage. The quality of Rear camera the white feels, due to its second camera sensor and its supports for fast charging. It definitely packs power in juice but what makes think twice about it, is the color OS. Sure its benefits from Oppo’s offering but for something positioned higher. We’d like to see something new and something updated within the Android Ecosystem. If Oppo can just push version updates that will be great.
