So, both smartphones price below the 15k rupees or 230 dollars. The Nokia 6 are priced at 14,999 rupees and Lenovo K8 Note is priced at 13,999 rupees for the 4 gigabytes of RAM or 12,999 rupees for 3 gigabytes of RAM variant. You will see in this description, which is the better device to buy in this price segment. So, let’s get started-

Design: –

Design wise, you would see that the Nokia 6 and the Lenovo K8 Note both come with unibody metal construction. And we have the camera setup also looks quite same on both the smartphones. We have a premium finishing or now the Nokia 6 that’s really good material fitted finish and the matte finish looks really premium with sharp edges. And the Lenovo K8 Note has curved edges and also a matte finish.

So, in terms of the looks, the Nokia 6 is a better-looking device out there and feels better in terms of build quality as well. So, the Lenovo K8 Note is not far behind and definitely has some of the really good build quality but it’s slightly heavier and also bigger in terms of the size.

Now, both the smartphones come with the capacitive touch buttons, there backlit on the Nokia 6 while along the Lenovo K8 Note, it’s not backlit.

Now, the aspects are both the devices come with power and Volume rocker on the right side. On the top, we have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The bottom side, we have the micro USB charger port and the speaker unit. On the left-hand side, we have the SIM tray and on the Lenovo K8 Note, we have the dedicated music key. So, I think in this department the Nokia 6 is a winner.

Fingerprint Scanner & Additional Features: –

We have the fingerprint scanner on the front panel on the Nokia 6 while it’s rear panel on the Lenovo K8 Note. The Lenovo K8 Note is much faster, the Nokia 6 is a tad slower when you compare the fingerprint scanner performance.

Additionally, the Lenovo K8 Note also comes with via support the results with Theatre max and also Splash Resistant coating is also included. So, these are some really good aspects of the phone and there’s also dedicated music key for better music playback. These additional features on the Lenovo K8 Note

Display: –

Both smartphones come with IPS LCD, 1080p resolution display. 1920 by 1080p resolution full HD display, both have Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and 2.5D glass on the display. Both the devices come with the really good display quality. The viewing angles, the touch response and overall outdoor visibility is also really good on both the smartphones. But I personally recommend you, the Lenovo K8 Note in terms of display quality. But the Nokia 6 is not far behind almost similar display quality so both are really great in terms of display performance.

Camera: –

On the front panel, we have an 8-megapixel selfie shooter on the Nokia 6 while it’s a 13-megapixel camera on the Lenovo K8 note.

Let’s talk about the camera Interface, you would see that the both devices offer quite a good camera UI. We would say the Lenovo K8 Note was slightly better in terms of the UI performance and does the job pretty well.

You would see that while the Nokia 6 produces some really good colour quality in terms of daylight performance but the sharpness and the detailing were pretty poor. This is one area where the Lenovo k8 Note outperforms almost all devices great sharpness and great detailing in the photos and overall clarity of the photos also looks better on the Lenovo K8 Note.

Even in terms of low-light performance, it’s a clear winner the Lenovo K8 Note with great performance all done and the Dual Camera performance was pretty good. One area was the Lenovo K8 Note was not that great is the depth enabled mode, the bokeh mode was not very inconsistent and the performance in the depth enabled mode was not that great. The selfie shooter again the Lenovo K8 Note is a better choice.

Performance: –

This is one of the categories where the Lenovo K8 Note is a stellar performer. The MediaTek Helio X23 Deca-Core chipset, that’s 10-Core chipset produces some really great performance. On the other hand now that Nokia 6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset which is not really a powerful chipset in this price range.

The Nokia 6 is coupled with 3 gigabytes of RAM while the Lenovo K8 Note has 3 or 4 gigabytes of RAM.

Now, looking at the benchmark scores, the Lenovo K8 Note performance almost double than the performance of Nokia 6 because of the chipset. And that really shows up in the overall performance as well so that performance and the multitasking are really good on the Lenovo K8 Note while under the hood the Nokia 6 is not really optimized in terms of software performance, background apps performance and the memory management was not that great.

So, Lenovo K8 Note also does not have a really good memory management but the performance is really superior and it easily beats the Nokia 6 in terms of the overall performance.

Gaming: –

The Lenovo K8 Note is again the better processor in terms of the gaming experience. The High-Quality games like Asphalt 8 or Need for Speed runs very smooth and fluid on the Lenovo K8 Note but they are runs only in average settings on the Nokia 6.

Software: –

So, here we have two devices with the latest Android version, both come with Stock UI. If you go to the settings panel you will see both these devices are quite similar and it does not offer any additional options. But on the Nokia 6, you will see that some additional tools like some gestures are supported but not too many other apps. On the other hand, the Lenovo K8 Note does not come with any added apps or support and it’s a plain Stock UI. So, in terms of the software, both these devices are a pretty good and both the smartphones will be getting the next version of Android. So, that’s something really good.

Connectivity & Multimedia: –

Both the smartphones come with a Dual SIM cards, the microSD card, 4G LTE and also Volte support. Now, both the phones do come with a good speaker performance Dolby Atmos and Dolby support is included on both the phones. Both devices come with good call quality and there are no issues in that aspect.

We got almost 3 to 3.5 hours of screen on time in the Nokia 6 while on the Lenovo K8 Note we get almost 6 – 6.5 hours screen on time. So, definitely, the battery performance is really good on the Lenovo K8 Note.

Nokia 6 comes with a really great build quality design, also looks very good, the Nokia branding and the Stock Android experience. While under the hood, the Lenovo K8 Note comes with a good display, great software, excellent camera performance, good battery life and overall cheaper package out of these two devices. So, unless you are really interested in buying a Nokia branded smartphone our choice would definitely be the Lenovo K8 Note which is an all-around performer with a great overall performance as well.
