LeEco Le Pro 3 Review, Full Phone Specifications, Price, and Conclusion

LeEco Le Pro 3

Introduction: –

Hello! Guys, Today, I’m going to take a look at LeEco Le Pro 3 Review. Last year LeEco made a splash by releasing a phone that was one of the first to sport the Snapdragon processor of the time. While they don’t necessarily have that further in their cap with this affordable flagship device. They’re hoping that it will still make a lot of waves. I do admit as well that it looks like a OnePlus 3. So let’s find out-

Design: –

Leeco Le Pro 3 design review

The front on top we have the sensors, the earpiece, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and a notification LED that’s not visible unless lighting. Now, that’s followed by a 5.5-inch display and at the bottom. We’ve three capacitive keys that just like the notification LED remain head until lit. We’ve got a logo for the home key. To the back, we’ve got a 16-megapixel camera with the Dual tone, dual LED flash. A fingerprint sensor and the logo branding at the bottom. The IR blaster and the secondary noise-canceling microphone can be found up top. The power and the volume keys are located to the right. The primary microphone and the type-C port located to the bottom.

To the left, we’ve got a tray this tray takes two SIM cards sadly no microSD and no 3.5mm headphone jack either. LeEco does include a type-c to 3.5mm headphone jack. It’s just 3.5mm thick and weighs in at around 175g mark. The way it feels evenly distributed and the metal built gives the Le pro 3 a premium feel in hand. Note that some variants come with a 4 brushed metal finish instead.

Display: –

Leeco Le Pro 3 Display Review

Let’s talk about the Display, the Le Pro 3 sports a 5.5-inch full HD IPS LCD display meaning the pixel density is about 400 pixels per inch. At this price, I’m okay with a full HD resolution. The display is reasonably sharp, the colors are a little on the cooler side of the spectrum. The viewing angles are excellent, the class to the front subtly curves at the edges. Note that there is no mention of the brand of protective glass here. The display itself gets bright enough to be visible outdoors. Overall, I’d say this is a decent display not great but not bad either.

Camera: –

Leeco Le Pro 3 Camera review

LeEco Le Pro 3 gone with a 16-megapixel main shooter with a F/2.0 aperture. Here no optical image stabilization. Images shot under valid conditions turned on average, a little low on the detail, the dynamic ranges okay. The color reproductions okay and in a low-light performance this even more. There’s a lot more noise usable images but mediocre at best.

This camera can shoot 4k videos at 30 frames per second and the quality is again mediocre. The lack of dynamic range is very visible here. The detail is a little better. You can’t autofocus while recording video you need to tap to focus, it’s kind of weird given that LeEco has to fix this bug. The 8-megapixel front-facing shooter does a decent enough job for selfies.

Processor & Memory: –

Leeco Le Pro 3 Performance

This phone powered by a Snapdragon 821 chip. The higher clock one used on the likes of the Mi 5s Plus and the OnePlus 3T. The Le Pro 3 is available 32GB of storage, 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, 6GB of RAM configurations with a couple of 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage and 6GB of RAM, 128 storage special edition variant also available. In terms of gaming performance, this phone has no issues. No matter the game we tried the Le Pro 3 ran it flawlessly. The Adreno 530 GPU inside had no trouble whatsoever. The metal chassis meant that the Le Pro 3 did feel a little warm at times but not enough to really worry about.

Software: –

Leeco Le Pro 3 eUI review

On the software side of things, the Le Pro 3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with LeEco custom eUI on top. In software, the eUI brings its agent’s top flavor of android that means typically no app drawer and some of the elements might look quite different from Western styles of Google’s OS. Let LeEco to their credit do try to move some elements around like for example – taking the quick settings and putting them in the recent apps screen. there are actually quite a few options and features here. You can take advantages of as long as you really need to and the notification drop-down is actually a bit cleaner because of it.

Well, The LeEco hopes that the eUI will separate itself is through it’s like Eco streaming services. The LeEco did well to get quite a few different partnerships with networks. It brings you to a grid of 3 by 3 content distributors that all stream content straight to the phone on an ongoing basis. Overall the main issue that we have here is that the average user will be a bit confused and probably overwhelmed by the overall experience. The last part of the LeEco’s Ecosystem is that members can get the Le Pro 3 at a pretty deep discount that makes this phone one of the most affordable ones out there.

Sound: –

The earpiece also pulls double duty as a speaker and the audio output via the stereo speakers quite loud and clear. I loved playing audio on this phone, we had the internal speaker. Audio via the converter was still quite good.

Connectivity: –

As far as cellular reception and the call quality goes again we experienced no issues. By the way, though this phone was imported from China, it has support for Jio VoltE.

Battery: –

The Le Pro 3 is packing a 4070 mAh battery and the battery life that’s what makes the Le Pro 3 stand out in my honest opinion. The battery life on this phone simply amazing so this is how I test the phone. I use it till the battery goes down below the 5%. This phone should easily be able to last close to two work days. The battery life is just brilliant.

Conclusion: –

Let’s run through the Pros and Cons again, Pros- Specs, Performance, Solid Build, Stereo Speakers, amazing battery life and of course, price. On the Cons that of things we’ve got the boring design, subpar camera, the eUI launcher, the lack of microSD and of course, 3.5mm headphone jack. In my honest opinion, the Pros too far outweigh the Cons and the Le Pro 3 is one amazing phone. As long as the camera is not a priority I’d give this one a green light especially at this price.
