Hello, Friends! Today, I’m going to take a look at LEAGOO T5 Review. The Chinese manufacturer LEAGOO released its new smartphone LEAGOO T5. It is quite interesting device so I decided to make a review. LEAGOO T5 is getting more and more aggressive in the Smartphone market. In terms of design and specifications, LEAGOO T5 can compete with more famous Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Elephone etc. Some days ago I received new smartphone LEAGOO T5. Let’s start review-
The Chinese company LEAGOO continues to experiment with the design of its new devices. Nevertheless, all devices use main trends of 2017 such as a dual camera, metal design in frames and so on. LEAGOO T5 looks great and very comfortable in hand. The smartphone has an all-metal body with a thickness of 7.9mm.
On the front panel, the phone has talking speaker, Proximity sensor and front 5-megapixel selfie camera. Under the display is Home Button which also works as a fingerprint scanner. On the right side, you can see the volume rocker and power button. On the left side is a slot for microSD and SIM card tray. On the below side is micro USB 2.0 port for charging the device and transfer the data as well as 3.5mm headphone jack and speaker grill.
The back panel has a minimalist design, here is an only dual rear camera with LED flash and LEAGOO logo. I really like the design of LEAGOO T5, the smartphone is made very high-quality and stylish.
On the front panel of LEAGOO T5 is a 5.5-inch display with IPS Full HD resolution 1920 by 1080p. The display is covered with 2.5D curved round edge and Gorilla Glass 4. The sunlight legibility is nice and the viewing angles are also good. The display is sharp and brighter.
On the back, there is a Dual Camera setup with LED flash. It has two modules 13-megapixel from Sony and 5-megapixel from Omni Vision. The camera offers fast autofocus and aperture f/2.0. On the front panel, there is a 5-megapixels Omni Vision sensor. Of course, you should not expect perfect photos from a smartphone with price about $130.
It mid-ranger or even budget smartphone so images are only average. The colour reproduction is just good and the image details are okay. The daylight images are good, those like average sharp and brighter. In low-light, the pictures are dull and noisy.
Camera app provides a lot of settings such as touch focus, auto focus, face detection and HDR.
Performance & Memory: –
The LEAGOO T5 runs on processor MediaTek MTK6750T with a clock frequency of 1.5GHz for the graphics is responsible ARM Mali T8600. Also the smartphone 4 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal memory from Samsung. You can expand the built-in memory with microSD card up to 256GB.
It’s definitely more than capable of handling most tasks like browsing, emails, messages, streaming music, videos and even games without a hitch for the most part. It does these things pretty well and unless you’re someone who is used to having the most high-end devices on the market.
Of course, looking at the benchmarks which I will get into in the benchmark section of this review, you’d probably think differently. Since it didn’t exactly come away from the tests with the best results. Now, the benchmark tests results of LEAGOO T5 had about 41714 scores in AnTuTu. It is a good result for a smartphone under 130 dollars.
The LEAGOO T5 runs on the latest version Android 7.0 Nougat with the user interface LEAGOO OS 2.1. The phone comes with its own custom skin over the Android like many other Chinese smartphones. But overall, the skin doesn’t slow down the smartphones and actually complements the design.
In terms of call quality and wireless, the LEAGOO T5 is good. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth frequency is excellent and GPS is not better than other smartphones. There is no NFC, Infrared Port and IR blaster.
As for the battery life, it has a 3000 milliamp hour non-removable battery on LG is able to provide eight hours of video play, twenty hours continues calling, thirty-six hours of normal use and ten days standing. And the battery can be charged up to 100% in just around 1 hour 20 minutes.
The LEAGOO T5 is an amazing smartphone for its price. It has a very stylish design like iPhone 7 Plus with dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner on the front. Interestingly, the LEAGOO T5 comes with silicon case and earphones. The performance of smartphone at a good level, you can run most applications without any problems. But the camera performance is not good. So, I only recommend you this smartphone on the basis of price tag because it’s a cheaper.
