iPhone XS Vs iPhone XS Max
Hello, Guys! Today I’m going to compare the iPhone XS Vs iPhone XS Max. So, the iPhone XS Max is the new Apple flagship it’s a large phone, and the iPhone XS is the smaller version of the actual XS Max. The iPhone 10S has a 5.8-inch screen, and the iPhone 10S Max has the 6.5-inch display. Now, the biggest question that people are asking is which one is the better buy, and of course, in this comparison, I’m going to tell you exactly what you need to do after showing you exactly what is different and also exactly what is the same on both of these smartphones. So, when you make that decision, you’re making an informed decision. So, let’s dive in-
I want to take a look at is the actual price difference so the iPhone XS is $1000 to start and the iPhone XS Max is $1,100 to start. So, the price difference between the two is $100, and of course, $100 is not a massive difference because these are two very similar smartphones that come in two different sizes.
Design & Build: –
Both smartphones are the same build quality, and both smartphones are manufactured using a stainless steel construction around the edges of the smartphone, around the trim and of course on the front, you’ve got a glass panel on the back. On the rear, you also got a glass panel, and the same glass used in the manufacturing process.
Now if you look at the design, it’s also precisely the same – (minus) the actual difference in size. Both smartphones are now water resistance as well with IP68 grade water resistance. So, I can take any one of these smartphones, I can dive into water up to 2 meters and stay in the water for 30 minutes, and I’m not going to get any water damage. Both smartphones have stereo speakers that produce rich and deep sound again precisely the same kind of sound quality and the same kind of loudness.
They both run the A12 processor in fact if you look at the benchmarks score, you’ll see that they produce almost the same processing power. So, again the performance on both of these smartphones is the same let’s go one step further.
The cameras on both of these smartphones are also exactly the same. On the rear, you’ve got the dual camera system one of them is a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, and the other one is a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. You’ve got the same sensor, same quality, same software processing in the background. So when you take a photo with the XS Max or the XS, you get the same picture quality including video quality.
And of course, on the front, you’ve got the front-facing camera that’s 7-megapixel again the same thing and of course you have the same face ID system that allows you to unlock your phone with your face.
So basically, as far as the internals are concerned these two smartphones are identical twins. There is no other difference between these two smartphones other than the actual size.
The iPhone XS has a 5.8-inch screen, and the iPhone XS Max has a 6.5-inch screen, it’s larger than the iPhone XS. So all you have to worry about is two things first and foremost, do you want a larger screen to enjoy videos, photos and browsing on also playing games or do you prefer the smaller screen especially because it allows you to handle the phone with one hand with much more ease.
So, the iPhone XS Max is a massive phone it’s tough to use it in one hand. Historically if you used to use phones with one side, you’re not going to like the XS Max. It’s kind of phone you’re going to like it or because the larger display gives you more entertainment just by looking at it. Whether you’re watching a video, looking at a photo, it just seems better because it is larger.
But what’s gonna happen is as you enjoy the large sized media on it you’re going to realize it’s tough to manage the phone with one hand and make sure that if you do buy the iPhone XS Max to get a case, of course, I recommend a case for any phone but the XS Max is so hard to maintain in one hand. It feels like is going to slip and slide out of your hand and onto the floor. With the iPhone 10S, it’s more comfortable to hold in one hand as you can see, so it feels like it’s more secure under my grip when I’m keeping it.
Guys like I said the internal engines of both of these smartphones are identical. The only thing that you want to take a look at is whether or not you want a large screen size such as a 10S Max with one hand if you do not get the iPhone XS.
Like I said the price difference is not a big deal, the iPhone XS Max is only $100 more than the XS. So, if you can buy the XS, you can buy the XS Max no problem.
