Hello, Guys! Today I’m going to do a full specifications Review of Doogee X30. The Chinese phones maker Doogee has made a quite a few budget phones over at the time and the X30 is one of them. It costs just about 70 dollars but it has a metal frame and decent specs for the price. So, Let’s Start-
Design & Display: –
The Doogee X30 does not follow the trend of all screen design and it’s far smaller fee traditional look. A metal frame gives a little bit of a premium feel but the plastic backplate lets you know this is a cheap phone.
After all, I really love the sharp bright display despite it has a lower resolution. The Doogee X30 comes with 5.5-inch IPS LCD panel with 720p HD resolution and 267 PPI Pixel density. The colours are sharp and vivid. The viewing angles are good and the sunlight legibility is also good.
The start of the show here is Two Dual Camera setups one is on the rear panel and another is on the front panel. Unfortunately, the phone lacks the LED notification light. The capacitive keys are not backlit and there is no fingerprint scanner. You do get the replaceable battery which becomes a rare feature these days. Finally, the loudspeaker is not so great and it starts crackling at the highest volume settings.
The X30 comes with Two-Dual cameras set up. On the back, you have 8-megapixel primary and 8-megapixel secondary camera f/2.2 aperture lens with LED flash. On the front panel, you have 5-megapixel primary and 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture lens.
The overall pictures quality is not going to impress you but I would say that the pictures look quite good for a sub $70. That dual camera setup is chassis joke since it draws his circle around the centre of the image just like most of these cheap Chinese phones. Naturally, the camera collapses in low-light and selfies could look a lot better. Again the fake bokeh effect which may look kind of cool on social media but it depends on your taste.
Video from the back and from front camera look kind of poor but this can be excused from the phone is cheap.
Processor, Memory & Performance: –
The Doogee X30 is powered by MediaTek MT6580 chipset which cocked at Quad-Core 1.3GHz processor with 2GB of RAM and 16 gigabytes of internal storage which is expandable up to 64 gigabytes via the microSD card. It comes with Mali-400 graphics card which is cheap.
The phone ships with old MediaTek processor so you won’t be able to play the latest 3D games. But some older graphically intensive games work just fine on medium graphics settings.
The Doogee X30 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat but we have DOOGEE skin built on top of it. Honestly, I don’t like these built-in animations or the new speed feature that I keep turning on accidentally. On the other hand, I like the well-organized app tray and that you can customize the phone b changing themes. There is a classic set of gesture and motion controls that I don’t really use, to be honest. The overall performance is decent, you may expect a little bit of stutter here and there but nothing major.
As far as the connectivity goes I would trade the call quality above average and the other connectivity options work fine. However, the Doogee X30 does not have a gyroscope sensor meaning that it is not compatible with VR headsets. Finally, the phone does not support 4G/LTE network only the 3G.
The Doogee X30 ships with 3360 milliamp-hours battery. The battery life is pretty good on this phone. You should be able to use it for at least one full day or more depending on how you use the device. However, the phone does not support fast charging again it may take way over 2 hours to fully charge it.
The Doogee X30 is a phone designed for those who live on a budget or simply want to get a very cheap device. Overall, I think it offers a great value for the price even though it’s not a perfect smartphone. So, what you guys think about this phone, drop me a comment down below and also give the ratings.
